yesterday.

yesterday shannon came to franklin to enjoy the day with me. we had much to do on our agenda and we did all of it except thrifting. we had a yummy lunch at panera, mmm black bean soup. then we went to ross, whole foods & stocked up on vegan goodies, bought some hair dye, went to walmart to see bryan, got stuff for vegan shark attack cupcakes (see photos below!), rented Away We Go, ate vegan pizza, baked baked baked, baked some more vegan lemon cranberry poppyseed muffins, had a bonfire, got crazy super hyper and slept. haha man!

in the bathroom at ROSS. haha i was stuck there for a few minutes as the guys laid new ceiling tiles. it was awkward.

baby G this morning. i had the doors open and after drying my hair i realized my dog was missing so i started yelling/looking for her.. walked out on the back deck in my room and there she was, sunbathing. silly puppy. im so thankful she can come and go as she pleases without running off or having to be put on a leash. she's a good dog :D

that was my sunday funday. time to pack, get dressed and curl my hair. flight at 6pm and i get to see my babbbbbbbbyyyy boyyyy in 12 hours! san francisco here i come!

things i love this week.

1. DIY tees: and this one is just in time for the halloween season. this shirt would be SUCH a cute way to dress up some dark wash skinny jeans and biker boots. love love love.


2. costume rings. the only ring i wear anymore is the ring adam bought me for our 1 year anniversary 2 years ago. i typically don't wear any others because i hate when they turn your fingers that horrible green color. (that cannot be safe! yuck!) but i do love this owl and the bow and maybe even the feathers. yeah yeah, cliche, but still cute.


3. this photo. weird.... but it works.


4. wine design and poster design BASED on wine design. plus, the wine bottle turned guitar is too cute. not to mention i LOVE holly conlan.


5. michael's painting of pam & jim. i really REALLY want to hang this in my house, over my fireplace mantel in the living room. i'm serious. who wants to paint me one? i'll pay you.


6. this cat. i've always wanted a smooshy face cat. i guess to match my smooshy face dog. too bad i'm allergic.

8. home interior inspiration. makes me so excited to eventually have my own little home where i LIVE at. i love my house now... but i'm never here! always traveling, on the road, at school or doing something else. i can't fully enjoy it. but i know years of city living and tiny apartments are in my future before settling into a quaint little house on a tree-lined street and a white picket fence. (i dont care how cliche that is. i will have it.... even though i have it already ha)


9. wanna date me? apparently you can via okcupid.com... no, i dont have an okcupid profile. never have. never will. well, and my name isn't stephanie haha i dont even know what teenspot.com is but these 2 shots were sent to me this week so thanks. at least the okcupid one hasn't logged in in a while...

the only time i ever watch tv is at the gym... even though i have a ridiculously large cable package i'm paying for at the house haha i never have the time. so when i saw all the mess on twitter about some bubble boy i had to do a quick google check to see all the hype. i haven't followed it since that day but THIS is awesome. way to go, guys. i want to be your friend.

snow leopard.

i just upgraded my macbook pro to snow leopard. so far so good. i haven't had much time to play around with it yet but there aren't TOO many real big differences... except it wakes up like a freaking champ. pretty excited about that, simply because i'm so impatient.

my house is 54 degrees on the inside right now. i'm freezing. about to leave for work. joy joy. tomorrow should be fun though. as i'm spending the day with my dear friend Shannon.

update.

i promise to have some hearty updates soon. now that i'm on fall break (praise!), ill have a little more down time, but not really. i leave for california the day after tomorrow. so the plan is to draft out all of the entries and get all the content and photos ready, and i can work on them on the trip, the plane, etc. i didnt get around to the layout yesterday because i did what i always do... i decided shopping sounded better. ugh. i need to stop that. but then i went to work last night and here i am. i slept in far too late and now i need to make the most of what is left of my day. wish me luck!

ps; good news! polaroid will relaunch production of their most popular cameras next year in 2010. and the impossible project will produce a limited run of the film. check out the site HERE for more info. :)

5 days.

5 days!
5 more days (almost down to the exact minute!) and i get to run up to this boy at the airport in san francisco and give him the biggest hug and kiss he's ever known. i cannot even begin to tell you how ecstatic i am to spend four-and-a-half days with him. i wish it could be longer but i shall not fret. we're going to make this distance thing work to our advantage. it's amazing to think this is the boy that has had my heart for three years. i love you, adam david.
