GIVEAWAY WINNERS ANNOUNCED!

Mike and I have spent the past few hours getting the winners for the 2 giveaways I posted earlier in the week. We used Random.org to generate the winner of the Domesticated Betty giveaway, and he read all of the 2009/2010 entries aloud to me [while withholding the names of the contestants as to not show favoritism]. Both Mike and I were very moved by Courtney's resolution and memory. We felt the sincerity through what she wrote and we came to the unanimous decision that she wins. There were tons of awesome entries and several of them caught our eyes. We wish you all the best of luck with your new year and new resolutions!

my new years resolution is to be a better mother. now while i dont think im a horrible mother but there is always need for improvement. im a single mom and i sometimes let my son see me cry over some things that i should be stronger about. even though he is my best friend and i only want a hug from him whenever i am crying, i dont want him to see me weak, only strong. his father is not around, i am the only one he has, and he needs to see me at my best. so no more crying, or getting upset around him. only postive thoughts and more going to educational places around my city.

and my favorite memory of 2009 is finally getting my ged, i dropped out cause i was pregnant and had my son when i was 18, now that i am 23 i finally got it, i feel so much better. i mean i just kept putting it off and now im going to college and i just feel so much better about myself.
